I love a new thing!  I love starting fresh — a new journal, a new project, a new book.  And I love a new bible study!  I just do.  There is something so exciting about opening God’s Word with a group of new women.  It’s the combination of the gifts and talents of those in the room.  It’s God orchestrated and it’s a good thing.

It’s been almost two years since I led Bible study.  I’ve felt the emptiness in my life.  I love my church and I love community, but I NEED to meet together with a small group of women and study God’s Word.  I NEED it.  God just created me that way.  I’ve tried online studies and it works in a pinch.  But I need to be face to face with people.  I need to open the bible and talk through the verses.  I want to see your face light up when you talk about what God is doing in your life.  I want to hear the passion in your voice and see the excitement in your eyes.  I miss that.  Oh, but I do.

I’m so excited to be starting a new bible study group.  It’s my first time to lead in our new church.  I am praying for every woman to be there — of course if that happens we’ll need a MUCH bigger room!  I’m praying for God to pour His wisdom over me as I lead this group in the Nehemiah study by Kelly Minter.  I’m praying for PASSION to encourage these women to dig deep into God’s Word — it’s in His Word we find Him.   It’s in His Word where we find His wisdom and His instruction.  It’s in His Word we see the evidence of His amazing grace.  I don’t want anyone to miss this!  It’s too important.

But I don’t need to lead a bible study to share that.  I have this blog, I have my voice.  I speak to groups all over.  I can share that truth.  But I can also share it right next door or with my checker at the grocery store.

God has something new for us each day.  Every day is a fresh start- a blank page.   It’s a page waiting for you to fill with your voice and your actions.

What will you do with your blank page today?
