This Christmas has been one of the most calm I can remember in some years. Don’t know if it’s because we have only one girl at home and our oldest is a married lady with her own home. Or it’s because we are no longer chasing after the ‘MUST HAVE’ toy of the season. Whatever it is, I like it.
I want to share some of my favorite Christmas things of 2009 (so far)
All the girls (almost) – My Mom, me, my girls, and my niece – the only one missing is my sister (she had to work).
Our Christmas tree – this is just the top…. (I don’t use the bottom, it adds another 3.5 feet and I’m just too tired to decorate the WHOLE thing).
Here are a couple of arrangements that I just LOVE!
And my Christmas present …. yes, I got it a bit early.
This is my new flat screen sitting on top of my 1952 RCA Victor – one of my favorite finds and so happy that I can use it as a tv stand!
So Merry Christmas from my house… and I would join The Nester’s tour of homes, but I that would involve me doing a bit more decorating and that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen… at least not this year.
Merry Christmas Mary! Hope you have a very wonderful one. Looks like you are already off to a great start.
Love you Sister,
Lisa
LOVE that 1952 Victor. Looks great with the flat screen. : ) Merry Christmas, Mary!
We pulled out the tree on Saturday and put up a few things. The lights on my tree aren’t working (prelight) but we decorated it :-). This made my kids happy which made me happy :-)!
I got interrupted (or my thought did)…
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Merry Christmas Miss Mary. I pray that your 2010 is FULL of God’s good surprises!
My love and blessings!
Pat
ps…I love your TV stand girl!
