I’m constantly amazed that the Lord allows me the blessing of hanging out with women and sharing my heart with them.
This past weekend I was blown away by some zebra clad chicks from Prattville. I hit the road Friday afternoon and landed down on Lake Martin with two large houses filled with women who were ready to laugh and have fun. They were also eager to dive into God’s Word and dive we did – head first into the deep end.
There are so many wonderful moments to share and so many new girlfriends to tell you about. Let me just say that Michelle and Shannon are two AMAZING girls who know how to plan a retreat! They also love to accessorize and Michelle introduced me to Charming Charlie – what’s not to love about these two!
They had these super cute t-shirts made – I LOVE what they did to my website clipart – and check out the girl in the middle. Yep, zebra.
It was an incredible weekend with incredible women and it was my honor to serve the Lord alongside them
Aren’t the adorable in their hot pink!! So many precious faces. My new friends.
Sometimes you just meet women and your hearts connect. My heart connected with these women.
I plan on seeing them at Charming Charlie in the very near future. You’ll find us in the zebra section.
Hi Mary, I just stopped over from Joanne’s. I just read your interview and thought that I would like to get to know this girl more. It sounds like you had a blast in this post with a bunch of ladies who are seeking hard after the Truth in the Word of God. How awesome is that! What a fun opportunity for everyone involved. I plan to come back and read some more and get to know you better when I have a little more time. It was nice meeting you.

I just read about this zebra-print phenomenon over at Suburban Turmoil. I had no idea it was all the rage these days. But of course, that is not shocking. I haven’t known much about trends in quite some time. 🙂
Mary, this is so adorable. You are precious!!
Check my blog out (in your spare time LOL) and see the RUG in my new office a few post back!
You and I were cut form the same mold…or is it animal???
xoxo

Hi Mary,
How exciting that you are working with the ewomen! We sponsored one of their events at our church over satelite, and loved the atmosphere.
Keep up the good work!
Love the HOT PINK t-shirts!How cool is it that they used your website clipart. I have that color on right now. I bought mine at Winter Jam. The Revive band has some great wives with a great sense of fashion!
Looks like you had a incredible weekend with these ladies. Hope to see you in the zebra section soon!
Hugs from the north,
Rachel
I just tried to comment on today’s post and it would not open up for me. So I came down here to your last post to tell you that I love that purse! LOL And I am glad you had such a great time at the retreat! 🙂
Did you ever read my zebra butt post after I got home from bloggers retreat? :). Just wondering. I too appreciate zebra.
