Episode 64: The Power of a Thank You

Nov 22, 2021

Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday. I only have to worry about cooking a meal and not making a Halloween costume or buying gifts. This holiday, I can set the table and invite people near and dear to come and celebrate being thankful. Today's episode is about just that, the power of Thank You. I'll share some great tips on what helped me and why there is so much power in a handwritten thank you.

Did you know that you can text me? Yep, you can text me directly and ask me all your questions! It will be me, and I'll probably even voice message you back. Send your texts to 205-964-5337.

This episode is short and sweet, like the pecan pie you'll be eating this week, so be sure to tune in. I share all the tips for making a huge impact in a small way, and I'll even share my experience. You're not going to want to miss this!

“I was so appreciative of people who were willing to let me talk about this work of mine, that I just wanted to say thank you.” – Mary R Snyder.

Highlights from today include:

  • Why write a thank you note (2:41)
  • What to reference in the note (3:47)
  • Who to send a note to (4:21)
  • Yes, you can text and email, but this is why you should write a note (5:02)
  • If you send a collective thank you, also do this (8:42)
  • Tip for creating your thank you note (9:41)

Do you send handwritten thank-you notes? What impact has it had on your career? I'd love it if y'all would come to the Facebook group and share with us! Or feel free to ask questions. Not on Facebook? No worries, you can always find me on Instagram or text me! I would love for you to share with me.
