Episode 17: Q&A on creating speaker promo videos, building an email list and managing failure

Dec 21, 2020

Today I’m answering your questions on a variety of topics:
Dave asks about how he can create a video to share with event bookers if he’s not doing live events.

Facebook Live, Instagram Live, YouTube — these are all great places to showcase your speaking topics and talent.  Develop short videos that highlight your message and your personality — make sure to download these to use when you begin reaching out to those church leaders and event producers.

LeeAnn asks about building an email list — and while I’m a HUGE proponent of building an email list and I think every speaker should be doing this, I’m not the expert in this space but I know some people who are — check out Amy Porterfield and Jenna Kutcher.

We dive deep into a question about overcoming failure and what that looks like.  I share some personal stories on my own failures.

This is an episode from you — my listeners.  And I want to do more of this — if you have a question on speaking, click the contact button and send me an email or if you want to send me an audio of your question, then go here to share your question.

I’m just thrilled you have joined me on this journey — let’s get your message on the stage God has for you!
