Episode 115: Creating Social Media Content

Nov 21, 2022

Does the very thought of social media make you cringe? I get it. It can be hard when you get on there and see that everyone seems to have a perfect life. Can I stop you there? Remember that it's not about you – it's about what God has done in your life. If you want to get your message out there, share a bit about it, or build a community, this one is for you.

The message you have been given has been gifted to you by God. In this episode, we'll talk specifically about how to create content, not just any content, but content that will serve your audience.

 Highlights from today’s episode include:

  • Today’s Topic: Social Media (1:30)
  • Creating content that serves your audience (3:07)
  • What are content buckets? (3:57)
  • Brainstorming bucket ideas (7:22)
  • Keeping your Bible close at hand (7:43)
  • Setting aside batching time (8:34)

If you're building a community and want to serve them well, creating content in this way will be truly life-giving. I pray that Holy Spirit moved on your heart and that you desire to intentionally make batching time a time to meet with Jesus. If you batch your content, I'd love to know how you do it.
