Enneagram Types & Your Speaking Style w/ Jenn Whitmer, Part 3

Apr 26, 2021

Jenn Whitmer, Enneagram coach is back again to share more about the enneagram heart triad today.

If you missed the first episode, find it here and episode two is here.

Today it’s our heart triad — enneagram types five, six and seven.

Type Five — the thinkers and observers.  They are the ones who will walk you through every graph and table.  They are thorough.  For the fives it’s important to remember that not everyone has done the amount of research as you.   So as you prepare to speak, be ready to give a bit of the backstory but don’t overwhelm your audience with details.

Type Six — the loyal guardian.  Sixes are always ready.  And they use self-deprecating humor to connect to the audience.  As a speaker who is a type Six, remember to have confidence in your calling,  More than any other number, Sixes can struggle in this area.

Type Seven – the enthusiast. This is the life of the party speaker.  Sevens are natural communicators but the challenge for this type is they are more spontaneous and can struggle with rehearsal.

So there we have it — the three part series on the enneagram and your speaking style.
