Create an Irresistible Opening for your Message

Mar 29, 2021

Stepping onto the stage you have moments to capture your audience.

Creating an irresistible is the way to capture and hold your audience’s attention.
Your audience has endless distraction and entertainment in their hands.  Your job is craft an opening that is so compelling the audience will put down their phone and lean in.

Pause. As you step onto the stage — pause.  Not a long pause, just a beat or two.

Breathe — you’ll find you are holding your breath as you step out, don’t worry this is normal.  Breathe

Smile — let your audience know you are here for them.

Launch — directly into your story.  Not the back story or the set up — the middle of the story.

Drop them into the action.  Capture their attention with your story.

Your job is to deliver your message in a way that connects with the audience.  Remember there is someone sitting in that room that needs to hear the message you are sharing.  Craft an opening that will hold her attention.
