I don’t like New Year’s Resolutions — because it usually means I have to give up something and it’s not something I don’t like.  It’s usually something good like chocolate or butter — I love both of these.  I don’t want to resolve anything that requires I give up either

I’ve decided to try something new in 2010 (and I heard it first from BirminghamBargain Mom).  So, here is my FIRST series blog:

52 New Things in 2010

I love the idea of trying new things.  I’m in the midst of a NEW THING in my life so more new things seem appropriate.

I love new recipes, new books, new lipstick, new Post-its, new vacation spots, new roads, new friends… I think you get the idea.

Here’s the plan — I will try something NEW each week beginning  with the first full week of the year  and continue it for the following 51 weeks in 2010.

I will post my new thing on the following Monday.   I’ll share what I tried and what I thought about it.  My first New Thing post will be up January 11, 2010

What will I try?  Who knows.   I hope to experience some exciting new stuff this year.  My first NEW THING is gIRL! You can read all about it here.
